Miss Manners

Have you ever watched your child and wondered if she was magically replaced with a wild boar in the middle of the night?  And then that wild boar was taught some semblance of human emotions and manners and you think, wow, she's doing really good for a wild boar.  If you were to compare her behavior to other human children, it would be awful.  But for a boar?  Not so bad.

Then the next day she will go back to being the sweet, only slightly crazy child you've been raising so the wild boar must have been sent back to his mother and you feel bad for her because that wild boar is way too respectful to play with all the other wild boar kids on the playground. That mother will be so embarrassed.  You feel her pain.
